A man was arrested after calling Tucson police to say he’d shot his neighbor during an argument, officials say.

The man called 911 about 5:15 p.m. and told a dispatcher that he shot his neighbor several times during an argument, Tucson police said Wednesday.

The neighbor was found dead at the apartment complex in the 1000 block of North Alamo Avenue, near East Speedway and North Wilmot Road.

The details of the argument have not been released.

Neither man was identified by police.
