A weather system that brought rain Sunday to metro Tucson and other parts of the state was clearing out early Monday.

An inch of rain fell at Sonora Desert Museum, 0.79 inches fell at Canoa Ranch, 0.68 inches fell at Corona de Tucson, 0.46 inches fell near Ventana Canyon and North Kolb Road and 0.43 inches fell at Picture Rocks Community Center, 24-hour rain totals from the weather service show.

After Monday, dry conditions are expected across the region, the National Weather Service in Tucson said.

Temperatures will be below normal through Wednesday — about 87 degrees Monday — rising from the low to high 90s through Thursday, the weather service said.

The high temperature in Tucson Friday is expected to be 101 degrees.
