The home of Joseph A. Moller and family was photographed for the Tucson Citizen Home section in 1958. Architecturally, the house was Spanish, the interior was conventional 18th century.

Focal point in the living room is the oil painting of Lake Superior above the marble and paneled fireplace. Colors in the house were chosen to blend with this picture. The living room walls are a lovely mist green shade which deepens to a blue green in the adjoining family room. The white froth of the waves is picked up by the white ceiling and white mantle.

The entrance to the Mollers' lovely home is through this charming patio. They enjoy eating out here where it is warm and sunny in the winter.

Bronze toned wall paper with a striking cherry blossom bough mural brightens the foyer leading to the living room. The two prints above the piano are titled "Courtship" and "Marriage." In the first, a young man helps his ladylove over a stile. In the latter she has to get over as best she can.

The Mollers do a lot of living in this friendly family room. the wall shown features books, and Mrs. Moller has hung some of the paintings from her grandfather's collection on the other walls. The wrought iron furniture was chosen for wear and tear since the pool patio is reached from this room.

The door at the right leading to the pantry makes serving easy when they have outdoor parties. The north patio, on the other side of the house holds a curving swimming pool.

Wrought iron gates beyond the front door give access to the south patio. It is through this charming patio, with its numerous flowers and green plants, that guests enter the Mollers' home. Landscaping in the two patios and around the house was done by Polly Lee.
