The Arizona Wildcats’ banner recruiting weekend continued with a third verbal commitment late Sunday.

Three-star outside linebacker Kwabena Watson of Fresno, California, became the third defensive player to commit to Arizona. He joined linebacker Derrion Clark and defensive tackle Kane Bradford, who are both from Dallas.

Watson plays at the same high school, Edison, as former UA standout Robert Golden. Watson holds offers from several big-time programs, including USC, LSU, Oregon, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Watson is the No. 60 outside linebacker in the class of 2019 and the No. 83 overall player from California. He is the first Californian to commit to the Wildcats in the ’19 class.

Watson is listed at 6-3, 205 pounds and could project to the hybrid “Stud” position in Arizona’s defensive scheme.

Here’s how the ’19 class currently stands:

  • DT Kane Bradford, 6-5, 275, Dallas (Skyline)
