Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita looks for a receiver during the second half of the Wildcats’ blowout win over Washington State on Oct. 14 in Pullman, Wash.

For the second week in a row, Arizona Wildcats quarterback Noah Fifita was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week.Β

Fifita completed 34 of 43 passes for 342 yards and no turnovers in the Wildcats' 44-6 win over the 19th-ranked Washington State Cougars in Pullman, which marked the largest road win over a ranked opponent in program history.Β

Fifita's 79% completion rate on Saturday marked a career-high for him, who also won Pac-12 Freshman of the Week last week following a five-touchdown performance in a triple-overtime loss to USC in Los Angeles.

Fifita joined Servite High School (Calif.) teammate, wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, as Wildcats to earn Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors twice; McMillan and Fifita's longtime teammate in linebacker Jacob Manu also won the award last season.Β

Arizona enters a bye week before returning to play on Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in Tucson, when the Wildcats host No. 12 Oregon State.Β
