Becky Burke continued to add size to Arizona’s 2026 recruiting class Friday.

The Wildcats secured a verbal commitment from 6-foot-6 Australian center Callie Hinder.

Callie Hinder, a 6-foot-6 center from Australia who’s prepping in Phoenix, has committed to Arizona for the class of 2026.

Hinder currently plays for PHH Prep in Phoenix after previous stops at Chandler Hamilton and Tempe Corona del Sol.

Hinder’s other finalist was Kansas. She also held offers from Arizona State, Pittsburgh, Providence and Texas Tech, according to Talia Goodman of On3/Rivals.

In her first two seasons of high school, Hinder averaged 10.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game, per MaxPreps.

She also played for Australia in this year’s FIBA U19 World Cup.

Hinder is the second player over 6 feet tall to commit to Arizona this week, joining 6-2 forward Priyanka Ponnam of Pennington, New Jersey.
