The 2023 Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl will feature a blend of new and familiar.

Toledo, representing the Mid-American Conference, will square off against Wyoming, repping the Mountain West.

The Rockets (11-2) will be making their first appearance in the Arizona Bowl, which is slated for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Dec. 30, at Arizona Stadium.

The Cowboys (8-4) are returning to Tucson for the second straight season and will be playing in the Arizona Bowl for the third time.

“Both the Toledo and Wyoming football programs are known to be fan-fueled, and we look forward to welcoming their alumni and broad fan bases to Tucson with our signature Sonoran warmth and hospitality,” Kym Adair, executive director of the Arizona Bowl, said in a news release.

“When coupled with the Southern Arizona community’s strong support of our game and associated bowl events, this promises to be an epic showdown in the desert on Dec. 30.”

This year’s Arizona Bowl game will be streamed on Barstool Sports’ digital platforms and broadcast on The CW Network.

We’ll have more on the Arizona Bowl announcement later today.
