Washington landed two former Arizona Wildcats in as many days, after wide receiver Kevin Green Jr. committed to the Huskies on Monday, one day after running back Jordan Washington pledged to UW.

Washington and Green visited UW over the weekend after spending the entire spring with the Wildcats.

Green and Washington reunite with head coach Jedd Fisch and his staff that recruited both of them to the UA.

Washington and Green are the latest Wildcats to follow Fisch and his staff to UW, joining running back Jonah Coleman, cornerback Ephesians Prysock, defensive end Isaiah Ward, linebacker Anthony Ward, defensive end Russell Davis II, cornerback Jordan Shaw, quarterback Demond Williams, running back Adam Mohammed, offensive lineman Michael Watkins and wide receiver Audric Harris.

Green played two-plus seasons for the Wildcats as a backup slot receiver and was in position to potentially start alongside Tetairoa McMillan and Montana Lemonious-Craig for the upcoming season. Green also received reps at punt returner this spring.

Green signed with Arizona in 2022 as a three-star prospect, after the Los Angeles-area native flipped his commitment from the USC Trojans.

Green, who started one game against Utah in place of the hobbled Jacob Cowing, had eight catches for 97 yards in his second season with the Wildcats, after redshirting his freshman season. Green was in the starting lineup during the spring last season, while Cowing started at the “Z” receiver spot left behind by Dorian Singer. Once Lemonious-Craig transferred from Colorado after the spring game, Cowing went back to slot receiver.

Although Green contended for starting snaps this spring, in addition to first-year head coach Brent Brennan and wide receivers coach Bobby Wade vowing to extend Arizona's receiver rotation this year, it was bound for one of the UA's receivers to transfer this offseason considering it's one of the Wildcats' deepest position groups. Arizona also recently added Old Dominion transfer receiver Reymello Murphy, who ranked 27th nationally in yards per catch (17.9) last season.

Washington, a 5-11, 180-pound early enrollee, was a four-star prospect in Arizona's 2024 recruiting class. In Jordan's 46-20 win over Compton High School, a game the Star attended in Los Angeles in October, Washington had five touchdowns on seven touches. Despite the coaching change at Arizona, the explosive playmaker remained at the UA for the entire spring and was in a rotation of scholarship running backs that include Rayshon Luke, San Jose State transfer Quali Conley and redshirt freshman Brandon Johnson. The Wildcats also recently added former Salpointe Catholic running back Anthony Wilhite.

With former New Mexico star Jacory Croskey-Merritt signing with Ole Miss, the Wildcats will likely sign one or two more running backs this offseason.
