Arizona State wide receiver Elijhah Badger tries to escape California defensive back Raymond Woodie III during their Sept. 30 game.

One of Arizona State's top transfer portal departures could be coming down to Tucson for the final year of his collegiate career.

Former ASU star wide receiver Elijhah Badger, who entered the transfer portal last month, is taking official visits to Arizona and Florida, according to 247Sports and On3.com

The 6-1, 185-pound Badger had 135 catches for 1,579 yards and 10 touchdowns the last two seasons with the Sun Devils. Badger had eight receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown in ASU's loss to Arizona for the Territorial Cup in 2022; Badger didn't play in the rivalry game this past season.

Badger, a Sacramento native and former four-star recruit, was recruited by Arizona head coach Brent Brennan and his staff at San Jose State in 2020, before he signed with the Sun Devils. One of Badgers' coaches at ASU was current Arizona wide receivers coach Bobby Wade.

After losing slot receiver Kevin Green Jr., the Wildcats signed former Old Dominion wide receiver and Bay Area native Reymello Murphy. Adding Badger to Arizona's receiver room that has potential first-round pick Tetairoa McMillan, veteran Montana Lemonious-Craig, Murphy and budding talent in Malachi Riley, Devin Hyatt, Chris Hunter and Brandon Phelps, among others, would give Arizona one of the top receiver rooms in college football.
