Add a touch of homemade flair to your wedding by shopping at Etsy stores.

You likely know by now that the internet is a wedding planning black hole.

You can scroll through invitation templates on Zazzle.com for days or click through Pinterest decorations until you're pretty sure you have carpal tunnel.

When I was planning my own wedding, I spent a whole night after work on Etsy and Amazon searching for the ABSOLUTE PERFECT cake topper.

So many options.

To help you narrow at least a few of your choices down, we found five Etsy stores run by local ladies. Not only will these shops give you a break from the never-ending DIY that accompanies wedding planning, but your dollars will also support a fellow Tucsonan.

All from your couch.

We think that's a pretty sweet deal.

Nicole Marie

This Etsy shop (and website nicolemarieweddings.com) sells printed tanks and tees that say things like "Feyoncé," "Mermaid of Honor" and "#WifeLife." I particularly love the tank that says, "After this we're getting tacos." YES. Shirts currently cost $17.95 on Esty.

Martin McCrea

Martin McCrea is a local wedding dress designer whose swoon-worthy vintage-inspired creations are pricey but totally worth a mention here. You can find the dresses on her website and Etsy. All of the dresses are handmade by local seamstresses in Tucson. The less expensive dresses begin around $1,000 and prices reach close to $2,000 for more costly gowns. Even if you have your dress, even if you're not in the market for a wedding dress, just visit martinmccrea.com and know that such beauty is being made right here in Tucson.

Tying the Knots

Meagan Harrington Diaz is the artist behind this custom watercolor wedding stationary. For $125 (plus the cost of printing), you get a custom-designed save the date, invitation or other piece of stationary. You can also purchase packages that include three pieces of stationary for $325 or six pieces for $650.

Visit tyingtheknots.com or the Etsy shop here.

This is where you go for succulent centerpieces that are green in more ways than one. Former agriculture and biology teacher Nicole Harrington now recycles glass bottles into planters, soap dispensers, candy dishes and other works of art. Plus she creates cactus and succulent wedding favors.
