For convenience, the family room-kitchen area of the Halvan L. Jones home in Flecha Caida Estates is arranged with a free-form table, especially designed. This table, as well as kitchen work areas, are topped in aqua formica. From the kitchen and family room, when curtains are open, there is a panoramic view of Tucson below. At the rear of the home, a brick wall gives privacy to the swimming pool and patio. White-painted wrought-iron fence keeps youngsters out of the pool when not in use. For comfort in hot weather, Kool Deck, a special porous cement, borders the pool.

Seen from the opposite direction as the previous photo, the living room and dining rooms are separated by a brick planter. The decorative theme of the amber bottle glass panels makes an interesting pattern on the front wall. Fireplace, shown at left, serves both rooms. Floor treatment is a combination of terrazzo tile around the fireplace at left, and nylon carpeting in a soft sage.
