One person was killed early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash on the eastbound Interstate 10 in Tucson, authorities say.

The crash occurred about 5:30 a.m. when a vehicle struck a concrete barrier wall in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near the Prince Road exit, the state Department of Public Safety said.

The driver was the vehicle’s sole occupant. 

No details about the wreck were immediately available Friday morning.

DPS said identification of the driver is pending notification of kin.
