• Larry H. Miller dealerships: Parent Aid Child Abuse Prevention Center was awarded a $4,025 donation from Larry H. Miller dealerships. The donation will support the center’s Family Education Outreach Program, which provides a six-week parenting series and family enrichment workshops that assist at-risk, underprivileged, low-income and underserved families.
  • Wireless Vision: T-Mobile operated by Wireless Vision raised more than $40,000 to benefit the St. Baldrick’s Foundation in support of childhood cancer research grants. Wireless Vision organized seven St. Baldrick’s head-shaving events, where employees, families and community members went bald at local stores, including one in Tucson which raised more than $1,100.
  • Jazmyn’s Lunch Break and Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches: On June 25, the local nonprofit charity, Jazmyn’s Lunch Break, held their annual β€œIt’s a Summer Christmas” event at Banner-Diamond Children’s Medical Center. Santa Claus handed out toys and the Polar Express Christmas Train was set up by the Garden Railroad Society to entertain the children. Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches provided sandwiches and lunch boxes to the children, their families and nurses.
