The home of Kenneth Dimmick and his family was photographed in 1965 by the Tucson Citizen for its home section. The family wanted a house that was Spanish in architectural design and wanted it to be older. They also needed play space for children.

This wrought iron gate opens into a patio area in front of the home of the Kenneth Dimmicks. The tower room at the top as well as a weathervane on the roof are trademarks of the architect, the late Joseph T. Joesler, who designed the home in the 1920s.

This bright little breakfast area shaped in a quadrangle adjoins the kitchen. Open and covered cupboards provide spacious areas for storage.
