One enters a formal foyer and large living room, done in shades of pale gold with accents of violet and green. Louvered double doors open to reveal a formal dining room, large enough for arm chairs on either side of the end fireplace. The dining room was once a large carport that the Gilbertsons converted when the bought the house.

The porch overlooks a large covered brick terrace, the pool and the patio, and commands a superb view of the distant Catalina Mountains.

A vast L-shaped porch along the patio side of the house has been enclosed and carpeted for a third living area. A glass wall divides the family room and the enclosed porch.
