Why: For her work as a bereavement coordinator with Agape Hospice. She runs several grief support groups, is available to those grieving any time day or night, Mayer wrote in her nomination letter. “She knows how important it is to the members to have the support while grieving,” Mayer wrote. “She is always there for everyone, whenever or where ever she is needed.”
