The Pima County Youth One-Stop Service Center is moving to 175 W. Irvington Road starting March 3.
Currently located west of Interstate 10 at 320 N. Commerce Park Loop, the center will offer the same employment services for young people ages 16 to 24. The new site is across from the Laos Transit Center, making it more accessible to bus riders.
“When we knew we were moving from our current location, I thought of the number of people we serve on that side of town and how much is going on in that area,” said Daphanie Conner, the youth program manager for the Community & Workforce Development Department. “That’s why I thought it was an awesome opportunity.”
The current location will close Feb. 20. Some services will be disrupted from Feb. 20 to March 3 during the move, although case managers will be available via phone (520-724-9649) or email, youth.center@pima.gov
The Irvington location is surrounded by community resources, such as Frank De La Cruz-El Pueblo Library, the county’s South Office Clinic at Walter Rogers (WIC services), the city of Tucson’s El Pueblo Activity Center and multiple charter schools.

Conner said the new location will allow the One-Stop to transition from virtual to more in-person youth workshops, such as employability skills, financial literacy and leadership development.
The Youth One-Stop Service Center will open applications to its longstanding Summer Youth Employment Program on March 3. Youth ages 14 to 21 can apply for paid internships ($15.75 per hour) in various fields throughout Pima County. The internship program will run from June 2 to June 27.
