A 16-year-old student at Mountain View High School was arrested Monday in connection with a threatening video circulated on social media.
The incident started about 9 a.m. Monday when deputies were alerted to a video posted on Youtube that contained threats against multiple students and faculty at the Marana school, 3901 W. Linda Vista Blvd,, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
Deputies contacted the student suspected of posting the video and he was subsequently arrested, the release said.
The unidentified teen was arrested on suspicion of interfering with an educational institution.
