Pima County Sheriff's detectives are hoping someone in Tucson will recognize two men suspected in a convenience store robbery in which a customer drew gunfire from one of the bandits.

Pima County Sheriff's detectives are hoping someone in Tucson will recognize two men suspected in a convenience store robbery in which a customer drew gunfire from one of the bandits.

The sheriff has released surveillance photos of the duo they are seeking in the April 23 armed robbery of the Circle K store at 5818 S. Palo Verde Rd. 

The pair entered the store shortly before 6 pm, and one of them showed the clerk a gun and demanded money, said a May 10 a sheriff's department news release.

A customer in the back of the store apparently startled the gunman, who fired a shot at the customer and missed, it said.

One suspect is in his 20s to 30s, about 5’10” to 6' tall with an average build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and gloves.

The other suspect is about 5’0” and 5’3” tall with an average build • Last seen wearing a black, green, and blue plaid hoodie, a white t-shirt, and gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
