Six people were detained for their involvement in separate attempts to smuggle more than 200 pounds of methamphetamines and cocaine on Thursday, authorities said.

In the first incident, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Dennis DeConcini Port of Entry referred a 33-year-old woman for a secondary search of her Chevy truck.

A canine led officers to 17 pounds of cocaine worth almost $196,000 and more than five pounds of meth worth $16,000. The drugs were found in the vehicle's center console, according to a agency news release.Β 

A 21-year-old male returning to the U.S. was sent for a secondary inspection of his Dodge hatchback. A canine alerted officers to discover 14 pounds of cocaine, worth about $154,000 in the rear of the vehicle.

The third incident at the crossing involved a 25-year-old Mexican man who was sent for an inspection of his Ford sedan. An agency canine led officers to discover 17 pounds of cocaine, worth nearly $187,000.

Officers seized 96 pounds of meth worth more than $287,000 hidden throughout a 35-year-old U.S. woman's GMC SUV after she was referred for further questioning.

Thursday night, a 23-year-old Mexican woman was sent for further inspection of her Jeep. A canine alerted officers to discover more than 51 pounds of meth worth $154,000 in a spare tire.

At the Mariposa border crossing, a 32-year-old Mexican man was sent for further inspection of his Ford truck that resulted in a canine alerting officers. More than four pounds of meth worth more than $13,000 was found in the vehicle's door panels.

The officers seized all of the drugs and vehicles. The six individuals involved were turned over to theΒ U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
