With all the recent clamor for gun control and congressional hearings, the silence is deafening when it comes to the common denominator that isn’t being discussed by most print media and corporate-owned news outlets.

Columbine, Virginia Tech, and the Aurora theater shootings were just a few of the mass killings where the shooters were known to have abused/misused prescription antidepressant-psyche medications. Could it be that the media is afraid to discuss anything that might affect the biggest purchaser of full-page ads or 60-second commercials?

The side effect list for some antidepressant meds includes “acute psychotic episodes.” Could this be the mental trigger that must be engaged prior to a weapon being selected?
