Congratulations to all you gun control advocates! You’ve won. You dismissed the idea that if you outlaw guns, only the outlaws would have guns.
In fact, that has now become true. With strict gun laws, law-abiding citizens dare not bear a gun for protection in public. Their weapons are effectively locked up in their home. In the public square, no matter how crowded, only the outlaw has the guns.
The police arrive after the carnage. Frequently, the outlaw even does the police job of killing himself. Next, we watch endless hours of the heavily armed SWAT teams parading around the crime scene, uselessly.
Every one of the adults in that school should have had a gun. Granted some may still have died, but it wouldn’t have been lambs to the slaughter.
