Great Clips salons in Arizona raised more than $13,000 for the Arizona Helping Hands Holiday Toy Drive.

  • Great Clips: Salons across the state raised $13,493 in a single day for the Arizona Helping Hands Holiday Toy Drive through an in-store fundraiser earlier this month. The funds will help Arizona Helping Hands fill holiday package requests for 16,000 children in foster care in Arizona.
  • H.S. Lopez Family Foundation: The foundation became a partner of the Tucson Police Officers Association Charitable Foundation with its donation to the organization for its Kids and Cops Christmas event. Each year, TPOA takes as many as 300 kids, including those they meet in the field, from Head Start and the Urban League, to shop for toys and clothing. The H.S. Lopez Family Foundation’s donation helped provide more children with gift cards.
  • Lazydays Employee Foundation: The Tucson chapter awarded $18,000 in donations to five nonprofit organizations that provide services to local children in need. This year’s donations were distributed among the Tucson Fire Fighters Association, Youth on Their Own, Kamp for Disadvantaged Kids, Enhancing Education, and The Children’s Book Bonanza. Employees of Lazydays RV contribute funds for charitable efforts through voluntary payroll deductions.
  • Crest Insurance Group, LLS: Cody Ritchie, president of the company, partnered with Nationwide Insurance to donate $5,000 to the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona.
