A man was killed in a rear-end wreck Sunday morning northwest of Tucson, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
Nicholas Tronsden, 57, pulled off the road about 10:30 a.m. while driving west on West Avra Valley Road near North Portland Avenue and was struck by another vehicle headed in the same direction, the release said.
Two people in the vehicle that struck the vehicle Tronsden was driving suffered minor injuries, the release said.
The crash is still being investigated.
