A 43-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash Monday morning while crossing the street, Tucson police said.
The woman was struck about 7 a.m. in the 300 block of West Fort Lowell Road, near North Oracle Road, about 250 feet from a marked crosswalks in either direction, police said. The name of the woman is being withheld by police until next of kin is notified.
The driver fled after the crash, police said in a news release. No information about the vehicle has been released.
