Police body cam footage of the fatal shooting of a Tucson man by police last month has been released.

Video released by the Pima Regional Critical Incident Team, the multi-agency team here that investigates officer-involved shootings, shows what transpired prior to the fatal shooting of Fabian Garcia, 23, during a domestic violence call.

About 8:15 p.m. Feb 2, police went to the 300 block of North Silverbell Road for a report of gunfire. According to police, Garcia had been arguing with a woman in a home inside the Silverbell home arguing with a woman and began firing a rifle into the air with children inside the residence, authorities say.

Before police SWAT and hostage negotiators arrived, Garcia opened the door armed with a rifle and was fatally shot.

The officers who fired were identified as Chad Barker, a 9-year veteran; Devin Estes, a 12-year veteran; and Kyle Walker, and 8 year veteran.

No one else was injured, police said.

The completed investigation will be presented to the Pima County Attorney's Office, which is standard procedure.
