- For her dedication as a teacher to her students. She founded an organization called Soar With the Eagles, which helps adult education students have additional tutoring resources while preparing for their GED. She founded the group with her own money and works tirelessly to help students, Marcor wrote in his nomination letter. “It took a lot of courage and continues to take a lot of effort to keep this local nonprofit going forward,” he wrote.
