State Troopers are searching for the driver of a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in July on Interstate-10 in Tucson, authorities say.
About 10 p.m. July 6, a woman was walking on the shoulder of the interstate near the Congress Street exit, the state Department of Public Safety said.
The unidentified woman died later at a hospital.
The vehicle involved has been identified as a 1997-99 Ford Expedition, said AZDPS in a news release.
