Arizona Wildcats wide receiver Tre Spivey (12) bounces to the tunes being blasted over the PA during the team’s stretch, Aug. 12, 2025, in Tucson.

The final days of Arizona football training camp are here.

Arizona held its second-to-last training camp session on Wednesday at Davis Sports Center and Davis Sports Center.

Since the Wildcats are in Hawaii preparation mode, there aren't many updates from training camp, but here are a few highlights from Wednesday.

* Kansas State transfer wide receiver Tre Spivey III caught an 80-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Noah Fifita. In addition to high-level playmaking abilities in 50-50 situations, Spivey is one of the Wildcats' top route runners on deep passes. Spivey's 6-4, 212-pound frame provides the Wildcats a big-bodied playmaker.

* Spivey's No. 12 defensive counterpart, safety Genesis Smith, had an interception and a pass breakup. Between the spring and training camp, Smith is Arizona's unofficial leader for interceptions. Smith and safety Jack Luttrell, who's taken reps at strong safety behind Dalton Johnson, led the Wildcats in interceptions (3) last season.

* Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Devin Hyatt caught a pass over the middle for a chunk play. Other chunk-play creators on Wednesday include Chattanooga transfer wide receiver Javin Whatley — who took a slant pass, found space near the left sideline and ran for a long touchdown — along with running backs Kedrick Reescano and Ismail Mahdi and tight end Tyler Powell. On one of Reescano's long runs, Powell was the lead blocker up the middle.

* Walk-on defensive end Ammon Kaufusi recorded a sack. Kaufusi is the son of former Arizona defensive line coach Jason Kaufusi, who's now on Jedd Fisch's staff at Washington.
