Arizona football head coach Brent Brennan works his way through his players at preseason training camp on Aug. 12, 2025.

For Arizona's 11th practice of training camp, the Wildcats split time between the Davis Sports Center, Dick Tomey Practice Fields and Arizona Stadium Tuesday evening.

Here are notes and takeaways from another night practice in Tucson:

* Alcorn State transfer defensive end Malachi Bailey, after a quiet spring, has become one of the most improved players for the Wildcats this training camp. Bailey tackled running back Kedrick Reescano in the backfield for a loss. Bailey had another TFL in another period.

* Arizona had a red zone team period to end practice, which featured touchdown passes from quarterback Noah Fifita to Kris Hutson and Tre Spivey III in the corner of the end zone. Spivey high-pointed a pass over cornerback Ayden Garnes in the left corner of the end zone and tapped one foot inbounds. Several plays later, Garnes had a near interception.

* Backup quarterback Braedyn Locke threw a touchdown pass to freshman receiver Gio Richardson and ran for a touchdown on a quarterback draw.

* Defensive end Tre Smith sacked Fifita in the red zone period. Reserve cornerback Johno Price, who was on the other end of Spivey's highlight catch on Monday, had a pass deflection.

* The red zone period ended with a touchdown run from freshman running back Wesley Yarbrough.
