University of Arizona receiver Kris Huston runs the gauntlet of pads, honing his grip during a drill for pre-season workouts, August 1, 2025, Tucson, Ariz.

If position groups had a scoreboard, Arizona's wide receivers were the winners of the Wildcats' fourth training camp practice on Sunday.

Arizona returned to the practice field on Sunday after taking Saturday off.

Here are notes and takeaways from a productive Sunday morning and afternoon at Dick Tomey Practice Fields and Davis Sports Center.

* Washington State transfer wide receiver Kris Hutson, who's wearing Tetairoa McMillan's jersey number (4) this season, made several big plays in seven-on-seven and one-on-periods. Hutson won multiple reps against potential starting cornerback Marquis Groves-Killebrew. In the same period, Kansas State transfer Tre Spivey hauled in a 40-yard pass down the sideline from backup quarterback Braedyn Locke.

* Kickers Michael Salgado-Medina and freshman walk-on Tyler Prasuhn exchanged reps at field goal. Prasuhn had the longest made field goal of the day at 45 yards. Salgado-Medina made a 42-yarder in the period.

* In a one-on-one period, San Jose State transfer cornerback Michael Dansby had two pass breakups covering receivers Chris Hunter and Jordan McCord. Safety Genesis Smith also had a pass breakup in the period and intercepted Fifita in the final team period.

* Quarterback Noah Fifita connected with wide receiver Javin "Nunu" Whatley for a 40-yard touchdown in the one-on-one drill. Whatley, who is one of Arizona's fastest receivers, is super-effective in yards after catch and taking the top off a defense in deep routes. Locke also found freshman receiver Gio Richardson for a deep ball down the sideline.

* For the third time this training camp, Fifita threw a deep touchdown pass to Hunter in a team period. The Fifita-Hunter connection contributed another 60-yard touchdown; the first score on Wednesday was from 40 yards out.

* Redshirt sophomore receiver Devin Hyatt is emerging in Arizona's offense after suffering a gruesome leg injury in the Territorial Cup. Hyatt made a catch in traffic for a 13-yard completion and a first down.

* Scouts from the Los Angeles Chargers, Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns were in attendance for Sunday's practice. The Indianapolis Colts attended Arizona's practice Friday night.
