A man has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in the killing Monday of a man inside his own home, Tucson police say.
Carlos Torres, 39, was located by his fiancee inside the home suffering from “obvious signs of trauma”.
When police arrived at the home in the 1900 block of West Ajo Way, near South Mission Road, they began life-saving measures, but Torres was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jesse Espinoza was charged with suspicion of first-degree murder on Tuesday, according to court records.
The Pima County Justice Court filing says the homicide was a domestic violence incident.
Espinoza’s bond was set at $1 million.
