31 Tucson restaurants closed in 2015

Kearbey’s Burgers & Shakes opened its doors on May 18 on Stone Avenue downtown, just as the annual summer doldrums were about to kick in.

Restaurant on East Tanque Verde Road had gained popularity as a concert venue.

Decision took him by surprise. 

La Encantada shop had been open eight years.

Jackson Tavern, Brian Metzger's months-old restaurant at Plaza Palomino, closed Friday night. It had been open since January.

It was a hard decision, owner says, but life events prompted the call. 

Closure comes on heals of Bluefin announcing its finale.

The neighborhood hot dog stand on East Pima Street is no more. 

Officials currently do not have plans for the space. 

Family-owned restaurant near Trader Joe's on East Speedway calls it quits. 

Owners hoped a Kickstarter campaign would rescue restaurant.

Burger King is gone and Kelly's Cajun Grill is dark, for now.
