An 18-year-old man has been arrested in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 75-year-old woman walking in a neighborhood on Tucson's south side..

The body of Sally Alcaraz Rodriguez was found in the street the evening of Nov. 3 in the 200 block of West Tennessee Street, near South Sixth Avenue and West Irvington Road. She appeared to have been struck by a vehicle elsewhere prior to being left on the street, Tucson police said at the time.

Investigators later identified the suspect vehicle as a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.

On Thursday, Alexis Eduardo Ibarra-Guerrero, surrendered, Tucson police said Friday in a news release.

Ibarra-Guerrero was booked into the Pima County jail on suspicion of failure to stay at a fatal crash, a class two felony, the release said. He remained jailed on a $100,000 bond.
